The Fred Hollows Foundation Australia

The Fred Hollows Foundation in Australia was launched in Sydney on the 3 September 1992, just five months before Professor Fred Hollows passed away. The Foundation was established to continue the work of Professor Fred Hollows, who had made commitments to project work in Eritrea, Indigenous Australia and Vietnam. Following Fred's early work in the area, The Foundation has gone on to work with countries throughout Africa, Asia (South and South East) and Australia focusing on blindness prevention and Australian Indigenous health. In Australia, The Foundation works as both partner and advocate of effective health programs for Indigenous Australians.

The Fred Hollows Foundation New Zealand

Established in 1993, The Fred Hollows Foundation New Zealand is dedicated to facilitating comprehensive and quality eye care, especially through the provision of appropriate training. The Foundation's primary focus is in the developing countries of the Pacific region. All of it's work focuses on the prevention of blindness, and restoring sight for people who are blind from cataracts or other disorders.

The Fred Hollows Foundation United Kingdom

The Fred Hollows Foundation United Kingdom was established in 1999 to continue the work and example of the late Professor Fred Hollows. The Foundation currently supports the Nepal program.
